Actor Siddique has reportedly gone missing following the Kerala High Court’s rejection of his anticipatory bail plea in the actress molestation case. The police have launched a search to trace him and issued a lookout notice at airports, fearing he might flee the country.
Authorities have stated that there are no legal barriers to arresting Siddique, and the Kochi police have been instructed to apprehend him immediately. Both of Siddique’s residences in Kochi are under surveillance, but there is no sign of the actor. His mobile phones have been switched off, leading police to believe he has gone into hiding.
Reports suggest his son was seen visiting a legal firm, likely indicating an appeal to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, Siddique’s house in Aluva is locked, and his Padamughal residence is being closely monitored.
The High Court denied bail after investigators presented strong new evidence, placing Siddique in a controversial position. The court, led by Justice CS Dias, found the complainant’s statements credible, backed by solid proof, and expressed dissatisfaction with Siddique’s defense, which claimed the charges were fabricated.
