The filming of actor Suriya and director Karthik Subbaraj’s much-anticipated project, tentatively titled ‘Suriya 44’, is progressing rapidly. In the latest update, actress Pooja Hegde, who plays the female lead, has completed her portion of the shoot.
Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, the film promises to be a gripping gangster drama. The star-studded cast includes Jayaram, Karuna Karan, and Joju George in pivotal roles.
Recent reports reveal that the team filmed key scenes in the picturesque locations of Andaman and Ooty. The film is being co-produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Suriya’s home production banner.
The technical crew boasts impressive talent, with Shreyaas Krishna as the cinematographer, Shafique Mohamed Ali as the editor, and Jacki handling art direction. Action scenes are being choreographed by Kecha Khamhpakdee, while Praveen Raja manages the costumes.
