Music composer Thaman has officially confirmed his involvement in the much-awaited ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar. Speaking at an event in Hyderabad, Thaman clarified that while he is part of the project, he is not composing the entire background score for the film.
He shared his excitement after watching the film’s output, stating, “I am only a part of the film, not handling the entire score. Several music directors are working on it. The output was fantastic and gave me such a high.”
During the title and teaser launch of Balakrishna’s ‘Daaku Maharaaj’, Thaman addressed rumors about his contribution to ‘Pushpa 2’. He hinted that Devi Sri Prasad, the composer of the first installment, will focus on the songs for the sequel, while Thaman, Sam CS, and Ajaneesh Loknath will manage the background score.
Thaman also discussed his involvement in two upcoming films set for Sankranti release: Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Daaku Maharaaj’. He emphasized that he is only contributing partially to these projects, taking on specific challenges rather than overseeing the entire music.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil alongside Allu Arjun, is slated for a grand release on December 5, 2024, heightening excitement among fans worldwide.
