In a ground-breaking achievement, R Manohar, a resident of Parkala and an employee at Manipal MIT, has set a new benchmark in the field of optics with his invention. His revolutionary binocular telescope, capable of simultaneous viewing with both eyes, is set to be immortalized in the Guinness World Records.

Manohar’s journey began with a singular vision, to create a telescope that not only enhances observation capabilities but also simplifies the process of seeing light directly. His initial invention garnered global acclaim, earning him a patent and widespread recognition.

Building on this success, Manohar recently unveiled an upgraded version of his telescope, designed specifically for binocular viewing. This innovation allows users to observe celestial phenomena with enhanced depth and clarity, making it a preferred choice for scientific research and stargazing enthusiasts alike.
Already, approximately 50 units of Manohar’s telescopes have been deployed in Ayodhya, underscoring their utility and reliability in critical applications such as security and surveillance.
Looking ahead, the Guinness World Records team is poised to visit Udupi Parkala for the official inclusion of Manohar’s telescopes in their prestigious record book. Expressing his anticipation, Manohar shared that the recognition is not just a personal achievement but also a testament to India’s prowess in scientific innovation.
