During a recent rally at M.A. Stadium in Jammu, PM Modi expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would achieve a full majority in the upcoming elections. The event attracted large crowds, showcasing strong support for the party. PM Modi emphasized the BJP’s commitment to development and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
After the rally, local residents and BJP workers shared their optimism about PM Modi’s leadership. Sanjeev Sharma, a local, reflected on the significant changes since Modi took office in 2014, especially the decrease in cross-border shelling from Pakistan. He remarked, ‘In the past, we faced shelling during harvest time. Now, Pakistan doesn’t dare to fire at the border’.
Rekha Mahajan, J&K BJP Secretary, noted the enhanced sense of security in border areas, stating, ‘We used to worry about shelling during weddings. Now, we feel safe hosting events near the border.
Many locals praised the Ayushman Bharat health scheme for providing free medical treatment, with Sharma sharing how his father’s kidney operation, which would have cost ₹75,000, was covered by the program’.
Participants expressed gratitude for PM Modi’s focus on inclusive development, improved infrastructure, and a notable decline in terrorism. They believe that his leadership has transformed Jammu and Kashmir for the better, with many locals wishing for his continued leadership.
