Chhattisgarh’s Health Minister, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, praised PM Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan during an event on Saturday, emphasizing its significance as a national initiative. He urged everyone to join in the cleanliness efforts, highlighting that this mission is a vital project for the nation.

The Swachh Bharat Mission is a vision of PM Modi. You may remember his call for cleanliness from the Red Fort. Toilets have been built in every home as part of this effort, Jaiswal stated. He mentioned the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada, which runs from Modi’s birthday on September 17 to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, during which party workers engage in cleanliness drives at public places like temples and hospitals. As part of this initiative, various cleanliness programs are being held nationwide under the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign.

On the other hand, Jaiswal dismissed the Congress party’s ‘Nyay Yatra,’ which began on Friday in Balodabazar district as a protest against the BJP government. He noted that similar marches have been conducted by Congress in the past, including one led by Rahul Gandhi. Let them continue their march; it doesn’t bother us, he remarked, underscoring the BJP’s confidence in its initiatives over opposition protests.
