Additional Director General of Police Division of Police Pranab Mohanty visited the district on Wednesday and inspected all the branches of District Police.
He watched the parade organized on Wednesday at the DAR parade ground. Later he inspected police vehicles and DAR unit.
District Police Superintendent M Narayan led the parade as Commander. During the teams of Mulbagal , Vemagal , Gulpet, Mulbagal Rural Womens , Kolar Rural Womens, Gaunipalli and Commando Team A with Dog Squad performed and received appreciation.
At the end, a review meeting of all Deputy Superintendents of Police, Circle Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors of the district was held at the District Police office. The senior officer also gave instructions to the police cops and he also visited Gulpet and Srinivasaspura police station.
Pranab Mohanty, speaking to media persons said the command is being given in Kannada in the state and it is coming out very nicely.
He also recalled his service in KGF and in Kolar for four years,recently cyber crime cases keep happening, public awareness is being created to prevent this. Some people are getting cheated. He said that the district is bordering Andhra and Tamil Nadu and is a very sensitive area, if it was done in the past, now the criminal activities have come under control, further steps will be taken to work effectively.Deputy Commissioner Akram Pasha, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shankar Vanikyal, Additional Superintendent of Police Bhaskar and other officers were present.
