Arvind Prabhoo, President of the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), applauded India’s outstanding performance at the World Pickleball Championship’s Bali Leg. This event marked a significant milestone in India’s rise as a global contender in pickleball.

Indian players excelled, bringing home several medals. Isha Lakhani and Vanshik won gold in the 35+ Women’s Doubles and Men’s Singles categories. Additionally, Vanshik and Tejas secured silver in the Men’s Doubles, while Vrushali and Vanshik claimed silver in the Mixed Doubles. Team India also triumphed in the Team Event, winning gold in a competition that featured men’s doubles, mixed doubles, and women’s doubles matches.

Their dedication has not only earned them prestigious medals but also established India as a strong presence in international pickleball, said Prabhoo.
