ATM Glitch Leaves Teacher Shortchanged, Rs. 20 Notes Raise Questions

There was an incident where a teacher of a private school who withdrew money from an India ATM on Thursday morning received a small amount in Ramanagara. Suma, a teacher of a private school, withdrew Rs 5,000 from the bus stand ATM, but instead of Rs 5,000, the teacher got Rs 4,040. In this, 8 notes of 500 rupees, and two notes of Rs. 20 was dispensed. The teacher, who was shocked by the lack of Rs 960, went to KSRTC who was there. The ATM staff were informed, who immediately took a video and uploaded it on social media.

In most of the ATMs, it is common for Rs. 100, Rs. 200, Rs. 500 notes to be withdrawn, but the customer asked what was the secret behind the Rs. 20 note in the ATM of a franchisee.
