The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials who are investigating the Anjali Ambigera murder case have camped in the city. Four officers led by Superintendent of Police Venkatesh and DySP Umesh have received information regarding the case from the local police.
Recently, Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara visited the residence of Anjali Ambigera and condoled with the family members. At this time, the family members demanded that proper legal action should be taken against the murder accused Vishwanath alias Girish Sawant.
On May 15, Vishwanath alias Girish, who was angry because of her rejection of love, broke into the house of a young woman named Anjali Ambigera, stabbed her with a knife, brutally killed her and fled.
