Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, while speaking in the city said that Rahul Gandhi is dreaming of defeat. It means that he will get less seats than last time and therefore, they are doubting the EVMs, he said.
He said that Mamata Banerjee is also saying that she won only 40 seats, and hence doubting the Election Commission and EVM. This is the tragedy of the Congress party, he said adding that if they win in Karnataka, there is no EVM problem. And also he said that if his party wins, EVM will be a problem and if they lose, there will be a dispute about EVM. It has not been removed, he said.
There has been a lot of change in the country under the leadership of Modi, he said, adding that the people have decided that the BJP should win. That’s why the Congress is speaking in desperation, he criticised.He also mentioned of the Vajpayee government in 2004. In 2009, there was a Congress government, and then we lost, he said, questioning id they took the name of the EVM and dispute about the Congress’ victory.
