Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he is responding to the BJP through the development works of each sector in action, describing it as a factory of lies.
He spoke after inaugurating the development works worth Rs 152 crore in Banavara of Arasikere taluk and laying the foundation stone for various programmes.
Will the BJP, which is speaking for the Center and defending the injustice done to the state in tax revenue distribution, stand for the people of the state, decide for yourself, he said.
Deve Gowda, who had declared that he will be born as a Muslim in his next life, has now joined hands with the BJP. BJP-JD(S) jointly fielded a single candidate for the Legislative Council by-election. Our people defeated the BJP-JD(S) rivalry and won Congress candidate Puttanna by a landslide. He also predicted that alliance will have the same pace in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
On the one hand BJP is constantly humiliating the beneficiaries of our guarantee schemes. On the other hand, he criticized that they have stolen our guarantees and renamed it as Modi guarantee.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah promised that both panchayats of Banavara will be merged and made into a town panchayat.
District In-charge Minister KN Rajanna, Energy Minister KJ George, Kadur MLA Anand, District Congress leaders Gopalaswamy, Arakalagodu Prasanna and many local leaders were present.
