Bengaluru Mourns The Loss Of Renowned Advocate Alashettikere Ganganna Shivanna

The legal fraternity and the city of Bengaluru are in mourning following the passing of Alashettikere Ganganna Shivanna, a distinguished senior advocate of the Karnataka High Court. Shivanna, who also served as the former Additional Advocate General, convener of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, and former General Secretary of the Bangalore Bar Association, succumbed to a heart attack in the early hours of Wednesday. He was 68 years old at the time of his demise. Shivanna is survived by his wife, two daughters, and his son, Amar, who is also a lawyer practicing at the High Court. The tragic incident occurred during Shivanna’s visit to Mahabaleshwar, a sacred place in the Satara district of Maharashtra, where he was accompanied by his colleagues. He passed away due to a massive heart attack between 3 and 4 am on Wednesday, as reported by his son Amar. The legal community and the people of Bengaluru express their deepest condolences for the loss of this respected legal luminary.
