Defending champion Tom Kim of Korea produced a remarkable performance in the third round of the Shriners Children’s Open to share the lead with Adam Hadwin and Lanto Griffin. Kim shot a scintillating 9-under 62 to reach 15-under for the tournament. Kim’s brilliant round included an eagle and nine birdies, with only two bogeys. He started the day six shots behind the leader but roared back into contention with a remarkable performance on the course. K.H. Lee, another two-time winner, is close behind, just one stroke back, after carding a 66 in the third round. He made an eagle on the 16th hole with a precise shot that left him with a tap-in. The Shriners Children’s Open is part of the FedEx Cup Fall series and has been a platform for exciting golf performances.
