Dhanush has finished the shooting of ‘Captain Miller’, directed by Arun Matheswaran, and is currently filming D50′, which marks his second directorial. Dhanush is also playing a main role in the film, while SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, and Kalidas Jayaram have also been confirmed to be part of the cast. Aparna Balamurali and Dushara Vijayan are said to be playing the female leads, while Varalaxmi is the latest actress to join the cast of ‘D 50’. Reported to be a gangster drama, ‘D50’ is set against a Chennai backdrop, and the film’s shooting is happening on a grand set erected at the film city in Chennai. Recently, music director Deva confirmed that he is playing one of the antagonists in ‘D 50’ to reveal a big surprise from the film. It is worth mentioning that Varalaxmi earlier shared the screen space with Dhanush in ‘Maari 2’, and ‘D 50’ will be her second film with Dhanush. Dhanush’s ‘Captain Miller’ will be the actor’s next release, and the film is locked to release on December 15. After finishing the work for ‘D 50’, Dhanush will be commencing the shoot for ‘D 51’, which is announced to be directed by Shekhar Kammula.
