Son Of Businessman, Accused In Attempt To Murder Case Escapes In Private Jet

A businessman’s son from the city, who was accused in an attempt to murder case escaped to Nepal in a private jet. Vendant Dugar, son of Sanjay Dugar founder of VAR Facility Management allegedly attacked Vaishnavi builders owner’s son Darshan at an event in Bengaluru. The incident took place on May 9 when Vedant and Darshan were attending a friend’s wedding at the Four seasons hotel in RT Nagar.
An attempt to murder case was registered against Vedant at RT Nagar police station following the incident. On May 11, Vedant flew to Mumbai from Bengaluru after knowing that a case was registered against him. Vedant after attending a business meeting in Mumbai flew to Nepal in a private jet to evade police from catching him. RT Nagar police who had been to Mumbai to arrest Vedant returned to Bengaluru after they could not find him in Mumbai.
