Forced To Change Govt Policy Decision, N Ravikumar Demands  Reducing Price Of Milk

Due to the increase in the price of milk, the consumers have been burdened, and the member of the Legislative Council, N Ravikumar insisted. Also, he demanded that the policy decisions of the government to write to the farmers should be changed.

He was speaking during a protest held today by the BJP Farmer Morcha at Freedom Park against the Congress government’s hike in milk prices. He demanded that Rs 4,000 was given to the farmers Kisan Samman amount be transferred back to the farmer’s account. The amount of Rs 957 crores from last 8 months owed to the milk producers remains outstanding. He requested the government to release it immediately and come to the aid of the farmers.

MLC Chalavadi Narayanaswamy asked who gave you the right to give more money. He objected that this is cheating people.

He condemned the hike in petrol-diesel prices. In Maharashtra it is Rs 2 less.  Siddaramaiah and the Congress had performed a funeral procession on a scooter when it was increased. If so, tell us what yatra we should do, he challenged.

BJP Raita Morcha State President AS Patil Nadahalli questioned the government whether consumers have asked to pay 50 milliliters more milk per litre.

Bengaluru North District President S Harish, Bangalore Central District President Sapthagiri Gowda, Bangalore South District President CK Ramamurthy, party office bearers, Morcha leaders and workers participated.
