The state government is committed to creating a simple, smooth, and business-friendly environment, with the software for the Ekavakshi sanctioning system set to be ready by January. Minister of Large and Medium Industries, MB Patil, announced that all relevant departments have been given a deadline to integrate with the new system by December.
Patil made these remarks during a meeting at Vidhana Soudha with Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister LK Ateek, Principal Secretary of the Industries Department Selvakumar, Infrastructure Development Secretary Manjula, E-Governance Head Ujjwal Ghosh, and KIADB CEO Dr. Mahesh.
The Minister explained that delays in the sanctioning of investment projects, industrial land allocation, and CA land in industrial zones have been caused by the current complex, multi-step approval process. The new single-window system, developed by Microsoft, aims to eliminate these delays. It will coordinate all relevant departments and streamline the process.
The new system will be fully online, allowing entrepreneurs to input their PAN and Aadhaar numbers, automatically filling in the required details. The process will be completed by December and is set for inauguration in January. Patil expressed confidence that this initiative will make the state more business-friendly and technologically advanced.
