Food Delivery Executive Thrashed After 8-Year-Old Girl Lies He Dragged Her To Terrace

An eight-year-old girl’s lie landed a delivery agent in trouble as he was accused of kidnapping her and later thrashed by residents of an apartment complex in Bengaluru. The incident took place on Monday, June 12, under the Electronic City Police Station limits. According to Candid_Shweta, a netizen who shared the episode on Twitter, the issue began when parents found that the young girl was missing when they returned home after dropping her sibling to school. The netizen said that the parents later found the girl on the terrace and she was crying. She informed that 1 delivery guy pulled her out from her home n took her to terrace, tweeted Candid_Shweta. She struggled n bit his hand so he ran away. Parents n neighbors were in shock.
The netizen said that the residents then lined up the delivery people who were in the society at the time and the girl identified the culprit. They beat the man thoroughly.Police arrived n questioning started. Some 100 plus delivery guys sat on morcha outside society. But thr was a cut mark on man’s hand. Police took them for medical checkup where docs confirmed that wound is NOT a bite mark. The guy seemed innocent, Candid_Shweta said.
Police looked for CCTV footage to figure out the actual culprit. What police found was absolutely shocking. The girl was all alone on the terrace. Playing and wandering around, right after her parents walked out of home. She was enjoying her freedom. When asked, the girl reportedly acknowledged the lie. I was scared that my parents would beat me up for playing during class hours, she said.
