A significant confrontation occurred when police attempted to arrest MLA ST Somashekhar amid a silent protest by Congress workers at Hoysala Circle in the Kengeri suburb of the Yeshwantpur Assembly Constituency.
The protest was organized in response to allegations against BJP MLA Munirath, who is accused of threatening a contractor and making caste-related remarks. Tensions escalated when police initiated arrests, prompting a heated exchange between Somashekhar and law enforcement.
