BJP leader Anurag Thakur criticized the Congress-National Conference (NC) alliance on Thursday, accusing them of aligning with Pakistan’s stance on Article 370. Thakur claimed that the support from Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khwaja Asif, exposed Congress’s agenda as similar to Pakistan’s. He argued that this connection shows shared objectives regarding Article 370.

Thakur noted that Congress has praised Pakistan and questioned Indian military actions in critical situations. He also questioned Rahul Gandhi’s associations with those seeking to reintroduce Article 370, linking it to past violence in Jammu and Kashmir. Asif had stated that both Pakistan and the Congress-NC alliance support the restoration of Article 370 and 35A.
