Union Members To Meet The State Home Minister For Allowance Of Opening Hotels, Restaurants For 24 Hrs In The City

Must read

Recently the Big Bangalore Hotels Association (BBHA) has urged the state government to allow hotels, restaurants and bakeries that sell snacks in Bengaluru to remain open 24 hours. If this is implemented, the night life in Bangalore will get more colorful. In addition, the work of the police will increase.
We are pushing for a 24-hour hotel system as it will benefit the middleman between the hotel and the customer. Many vendors in the city do not have access to clean drinking water or washrooms after midnight as the hotels are closed. This move will also help increase employment, said P.C. Rao, president of the association. After holding mutual talks with the new government and the police department, the union members are now set to meet the state home minister. The move is expected to boost revenue and foreign investments in commercial business. However, more noise pollution and security needs to be addressed.
Addressing noise pollution and security, PC Rao said, We are seeking permission only for hotels, restaurants, bakeries etc. which are open in commercial areas, as residential areas should not be disturbed. For security reasons, we are not seeking permission to open liquor establishments.
Many hotels and restaurants have welcomed this move. Many individuals work late or night shifts. They absolutely need meal options. But, at that time we close the door and they cannot get it. It will be helpful for all restaurant owners and hotel managers. He said that this will be of great use to the passengers.
