NEW DELHI
India’s service sector kept growing in June, hitting a solid score of 57.4 on the economic growth scale. A score above fifty means the economy is expanding. While local shopping slowed down slightly, a massive wave of online orders, busy tourist season, and heavy customer bookings kept businesses running smoothly. Even better, international sales boomed as foreign countries bought more Indian services. Companies also got a welcome break as the rising cost of doing business slowed to a five-month low, keeping local business owners confident about the future.
