Must read

Bengaluru

Advocate Association Bengaluru addressed the media stating the statements of Justice Sandesh and their demands that a code of conduct be framed on the Dos and Don’ts for Judges.

Recently Justice Sandesh had made observations against the ACB last week and its functioning while hearing a bail plea of P S Mahesh, a deputy Tahsildar in the office of the Bengaluru City Deputy Commissioner. This have shaken the conscience of advocates and general public, Advocates association said.

Assocaiation added that the statement of Justice Sandesh calls into question the long debated issue on how to keep the jusdiciary transparent. The association expresses a serious concern that there are External forces within the Judicary influencing judicial decisions.

We will write to the Chief Justice of India on theis issue and will request him to launch an in house enquiry and investigation on the influence borne on Justice Sandesh.
