To facilitate smooth traffic flow during the Doddagunta Dasara Pallakki Utasav organized by Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Temple, police have issued a traffic advisory. The event will take place from 9:00 AM on Friday until 11:00 PM today. All types of vehicles will be restricted on Pottery Road, Assaye Road, Ramakrishnappa Road, and Sundarmurthy Road during this time.
Road Restrictions:
– Pottery Road: Restrictions apply in both directions from MM Road Junction to Doddaganta Circle and Assaye Road Junction.
– Assaye Road: Vehicles traveling from Assaye Road to Sundarmurthy Road Junction via Tambuchetty Road will face temporary restrictions.
– Ramakrishnappa Road: Entry from PSK Naidu Road Junction through Ramakrishnappa Road to Sundarmurthy Road towards Assaye Road Junction will also be restricted.
Suggested Alternate Routes:
– Traffic heading to Doddagunta Circle and Assaye Road can divert from Pottery Road-MM Road Junction to Buddha Vihara Road via Lazar Road, then proceed to Assaye Road through Sindhi Colony Junction.
– Vehicles directed towards Tambuchetty Road can use Assaye Road to reach Sindhi Colony Junction, then take Buddavihara Road to Kenchappa Road.
– For traffic going towards Assaye Road via Ramakrishnappa Road, continue straight on PSK Naidu Road, turn left at Assaye Road, and take a U-turn near MEG Gate towards Assaye Road Junction.
Parking Restrictions:
No vehicles may be parked on MM Road, Doddagunta Circle, Sundarmurthy Road, Webster Road, Ramakrishnappa Road, Charles Campbell Road, PSK Naidu Road, and Tambuchetty Road from today to tomorrow.
