Actor Darshan, currently incarcerated in connection with a murder case, faces fresh legal challenges as a new complaint has been filed against him regarding alleged threats made to producer Bharath. This situation brings back to light a case from 2022 when Bharath lodged a complaint at the Kengeri police station, alleging that Darshan and his associates had issued death threats.
The initial complaint named Darshan, along with Nagaraj, Dhruvan, Anoop Antony, and Arun Suresh. Following the report, police registered a Special Crime Report (SCR), conducted inquiries, and subsequently closed the case. However, on July 26, Bharath revisited the matter by filing another complaint, leading to renewed scrutiny of the individuals involved.
With an application submitted against the five accused, including Darshan, Nagaraj, Dhruvan, and Anoop Antony, the police initiated further questioning and prepared a report for the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). On August 5, a request was made to close the threat case against Darshan, citing that his statement could not be obtained due to his ongoing judicial custody related to the Renukaswamy murder case.
Despite efforts to conclude the case, the new Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) was registered based on Bharath’s latest complaint. The police have summoned Darshan, Dhruvan, and manager Nagaraj for questioning as they navigate this complex legal situation, leaving the actor’s future uncertain amidst mounting allegations.
