Sharadhi Pratishthana is set to host Kala Parba on January 11 and 12 at Kadri Park, aiming to unite artists across diverse art forms in a vibrant celebration of creativity. The festival will feature around 400 artists, including painters, sculptors, and dancers, showcasing, selling, and demonstrating their works.
With nearly 200 stalls, including 30 dedicated to sculpture exhibits, the event encourages art lovers to purchase unique creations at reasonable prices. A live portrait-making session and a demonstration by students from a Karkala sculpture institute will be major attractions. Additionally, a photography exhibition will highlight regional talent, while interactive sessions will allow students and parents to engage in art-making and collages.
The event’s logo and brochure were unveiled by Assembly Speaker UT Khader. Artist Dinesh Holla explained that the logo, featuring a colorful canvas, symbolizes art and society as interwoven canvases. The festival aims to foster artistic growth while offering an engaging platform for creative expression.
