Murder Of Mulbagal CMC Member, Police Arrest 6 Accused

Police have arrested six persons in the last couple of days in connection with the murder of Mulbagal CMC member Jagan Mohan Reddy on the 7th of this month.  Kolar SP D Devaraj said the prime accused Jagan had a personal rivalry with the deceased Jagan Mohan Reddy  Pallu Mohan.  The accused Jagan and his younger brother Dhananjay reportedly sought the help of Balaji Singh  Gabbar who provided all the logistic support including weapon for the murder.  The accused hatched a plan to finish Jagan Mohan Reddy on the 6th of this month, but could not execute their plan.  Later they waited for Jagan Mohan Reddy during early hours of 7th when he was offering prayers at the Gangamma Temple near his house the accused pounced on him and done him to death. 

 Four police teams followed the accused who were travelling continuously from one place to another spending nights in trains and travelled to Mysore, Mangalore, Goa, Vishakapatnam, Satara and other places and finally landed in police net said Devaraj.  The police have arrested prime accused Jagan, Dhananjaya, Balaji Singh, Mahesh, Abhinandan and Rohit who dropped the accused after the incident in his car.

    It may be recalled here that police fired at one of the accused Balaji Singh when he tried to flee after attacking a police constable on the 24th of this month.  Balaji who sustained leg injuries in the shooting was later admitted to SNR Hospital in Kolar.  In all police have so far arrested 14 persons in connection with the murder of Mulbagal CNC memberJagan Mohan Reddy. Balaji Singh who sustained bullet injury in the police shoot out is being treated at SNR hospital Kolar. Police are on the lookout for other accused.
