JOHANNESBURG

Indian golfer Udayan Mane returned to his winning ways, securing a dominant seven-shot victory at the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) Invitational in South Africa. Playing at the famous Royal Johannesburg West course, the Olympian finished with a stunning 20-under par total, marking the largest winning margin seen all season.

Mane started the final day with a comfortable lead, and despite two early bogeys, he quickly found his rhythm. He fought back with seven birdies to card a final-round 67. This victory is a major milestone for Mane, ending a title drought that stretched back to 2021. It brings his total professional career wins to twelve and moves him up to third place in the season’s overall rankings.

Gaganjeet Bhullar, a frequent winner on the tour, finished in second place at 13-under par. While Bhullar played steady golf, he struggled to keep pace with Mane’s aggressive scoring. Meanwhile, Shaurya Binu grabbed headlines by firing a 63, the best single-round score of the entire tournament, helping him climb into a tie for fourth place alongside veteran Shiv Kapur.

The win also shook up the team standings. Mane’s incredible performance pushed his team, Atri Mumbai, to the top of the leaderboard. As the players celebrate their success in Johannesburg, the IGPL series prepares to move to Congo for the next exciting leg of the tour. For Mane, this trophy proves he is back at the top of his game.
