A wave of grief swept a village in Kerala as the bodies of nine people killed in a road accident in Tamil Nadu were brought back on Saturday. The victims, linked to a local government school, had travelled together but returned in ambulances after postmortem in Pollachi. The bodies were kept for public tribute at a nearby school, where students, staff, and villagers gathered in tears. Many broke down, highlighting the deep loss felt by the close-knit community.
