Karthi gifts Yuvan a luxury watch to celebrate his 25th year in films

Karthi recently surprised his Viruman composer Yuvan Shankar Raja by gifting him a luxury watch to mark the latter’s 25th anniversary in films.
The Ponniyin Selvan actor has a long association with the composer. Karthi and Yuvan have been friends since their school days as both went to the same school. Later, when he made his debut as a lead actor in Paruthiveeran, Yuvan was behind its music. The music director has since then composed the music for Karthi’s films like Paiyya, Naan Mahaan Alla and Biriyani.
Karthi, we hear, is also super happy with Yuvan’s music in Viruman. The first single from the film, Kanja Poovu Kannala, was released recently.
The actor will be having three releases this year including Viruman, with Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan and PS Mithran’s Sardar being the other two.
