‘Alien: Romulus’, which was released in Indian theatres on August 23, is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting November 21. The film, which had its US release on August 16, garnered positive reviews in theaters.
Directed by Fede Alvarez, this sci-fi thriller is produced by Ridley Scott and Michael A. Pruss under Scott Free Productions, along with Walter Hill of Brandywine Productions. The executive production team includes Alvarez, Elizabeth Cantillon, Brent O’Connor, and Tom Moran.
Set between the events of ‘Alien’ (1979) and ‘Aliens’ (1986), ‘Alien: Romulus’ follows a group of young space colonists who encounter a terrifying life form while scavenging a derelict space station.
The film stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu in key roles. It features cinematography by Galo Olivares, editing by Jake Roberts, production design by Naaman Marshall, and a musical score by Benjamin Wallfisch.
