A CID team began their investigation into the Jennymilk fraud case, which centred around the sale of donkeys, under the guise of a milk purchasing scheme.
Eight officers, led by Kalaburagi division CID DySP Aslam Pasha, reached the city. They obtained all relevant documents from the police and commenced their investigation the following day. The team questioned four distributors who were purchasing donkeys from the company and selling them to farmers. The interrogation lasted over an hour.
In the morning, the CID team visited a farm near Galemma Gudi where the company’s donkeys were being kept and gathered essential information.
Subsequently, they accessed the sealed Jennymilk office for inspection. According to police sources, the CID team plans to remain in the city for eight more days. They are expected to detain and question more suspects connected with the case.
