As Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Donald Trump on his US Presidential election victory, Tamil Nadu BJP Vice President Narayanan Thirupathy expressed confidence that the relationship between India and the US will only strengthen further. Thirupathy shared that Trump was pleased with the Prime Minister’s message and highlighted the strong bond between the two nations, noting that it would continue to improve.
Thirupathy also emphasized that the American government, under Trump, would work closely with the Indian government, particularly with Prime Minister Modi. He expressed optimism that the friendship between the two countries would grow even stronger.
PM Modi had a phone conversation with Trump on November 6, congratulating him on his re-election and the Republican Party’s success. Modi acknowledged the trust the American people placed in Trump’s leadership and reflected on the positive momentum of India-US relations during Trump’s first term. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing ties across sectors like technology, defense, energy, and space.
Modi also shared his message of congratulations on social media, expressing his eagerness to renew collaboration and further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. The ties between the two leaders have been marked by mutual respect and cooperation on key global issues, with both leaders working to enhance bilateral relations.
