Gujarat officials commit to PM Modi’s vision of developed India during Vikas Saptah

During Vikas Saptah, senior officials and employees in Gujarat pledged their commitment to Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a developed India. The ceremony took place on Tuesday at Tapi Hall in Swarnim Sankul-1, led by the Additional Chief Secretary to the CM, alongside other senior officials from the CMO.

The Additional Chief Secretary highlighted the need for continuous effort to achieve holistic growth for the country. He noted the significant advancements made since Modi became Gujarat’s Chief Minister on October 7, 2001, and reaffirmed the current government’s dedication to maintaining this growth trajectory. Every action we take during Vikas Saptah aims to drive Gujarat further towards development in line with PM Modi’s vision, he stated.

Vikas Saptah, celebrated from October 7 to 15, marks 23 years since Modi initiated extensive development in Gujarat. The week will feature various activities throughout the state to inspire citizens to support the goal of a Developed India.

The event will include a ‘Vikas Padyatra’ (Development March) at 23 notable locations, showcasing Modi’s impact on Gujarat’s progress. Additionally, activities such as essay competitions, cultural programs, and beautification projects will take place. The Gujarat government also plans to launch development projects worth ₹3,500 crore during this week, with each day dedicated to themes like Youth Empowerment and Good Governance.
