As the BJP approaches a majority and aims for a third consecutive win in the Haryana Assembly, Union Minister Giriraj Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, declaring that one Modi outweighs everyone. He noted that the people of Haryana have sent a clear message to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. We are seeing the results: ‘Ek Modi sab par bhaari.’ The people of Haryana have taught him a lesson. They trust PM Modi over Rahul Gandhi’s claims. Farmers and wrestlers stand with us, Singh stated.
Singh further criticized Gandhi and the Congress party for supporting the National Conference, asserting, We have defeated Congress in Jammu and Kashmir as well. They can’t compete with the BJP. Rahul Gandhi backed Farooq Abdullah, who talks about bringing back Article 370. I thank the people of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
Recent updates from the Election Commission show BJP candidates leading in 48 of the 90 Assembly seats in Haryana, while Congress is leading in 37. In Jammu and Kashmir, the NC-Congress alliance is leading or has won 48 seats, with BJP candidates leading in 29.
Meanwhile, former Haryana Chief Minister and Congress candidate Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who retained his seat in Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, expressed optimism about his party’s prospects. We are nearing a majority. We’ve won several seats, but results are still being updated, Hooda told reporters, likening the process to a game where outcomes can shift rapidly.
