Manvi (Raichur)
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah questioned whether anyone would forgive the BJP and JD(S) for involving his wife in political matters. He made this statement while inaugurating development projects worth Rs 458.42 crore in Manvi and the Swabhimani Samavesh for oppressed Shudra communities. He asked the crowd what wrong he had done, emphasizing that it is not wrong for the son of a shepherd to become Chief Minister for the second time or to implement multiple guarantees for the people.
Siddaramaiah called on the public to be prepared to respond to the perceived falsehoods and conspiracies of the BJP and JD(S). He criticized Kumaraswamy, stating that he is not a hero and missed the chance to help the state when he was in power. The Chief Minister addressed claims that the state’s finances are empty and that there is no money for development projects. He noted that the BJP has never come to power independently in the state and has relied on tactics like Operation Kamala.
Siddaramaiah remarked that the BJP does not prioritize the people’s development and is only focused on regaining power. He rejected calls for his resignation and reaffirmed his commitment to fighting for the people of Karnataka, emphasizing that development efforts will continue in the seven districts of Kalyana Karnataka.
