Durga Niwas team wins cricket tournament organized for hotel owners and workers

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shatri, the In memory of Akkamma Shetty, RSC Sports and Cultural Club organized a 30 yards mini cricket tournament for hotel owners and workers.
Minister Santhosh Lad participated as the chief guest of the programme and kicked off the tournament by batting. Hubli Dharwad Police Commissioner N Shasikumar participated in the programme.
12 teams from Dharwad hotels participated in the tournament. Ozone and Durga Niwas teams fought in the final match for the title of 2024 championship. Finally, Durga Niwas team became the champion of 2024 series.
Hotel Association President Mahesh Shetty, Sports Committee President Ratnakara Shetty, Vice President Shandru Shetty, General Secretary Srinivasa Kotyan, Treasurer Sridhara Shetty and Associate Secretary Raghu Shetty were in charge of the programme.
