Shakib expressed his hope to play his last Test match in Mirpur.

BCB officials have assured him of safety. The South Africa series, planned for October, remains uncertain, awaiting security clearance. In the second Test, India won by seven wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s performance earned him the man of the match award, and India completed a series sweep with contributions from Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.
