The NEMA Guwahati Sprint Rally, part of the FMSCI Indian National Rally Sprint Championship (INRSC) for two-wheelers, will take place today (Sunday) at PRP Valley, 60 kilometers outside Guwahati. Set amidst a rubber plantation, the rally will challenge riders with hilly terrain, steep inclines, and sudden dips, making it a true test of their skills.
This event marks the final qualifying round for the INRSC-2W, making it a crucial opportunity for participants to secure a spot in the national championship. Around 80 riders from Northeast India are expected to compete, with the rally featuring 11 classes in the National Championship.
Additionally, a Sprint Support Rally will be held for local youth, offering eight classes with trophies and prizes. The season will culminate with the final INRSC-2W round in Pune on December 14-15, where top riders from each zone will vie for the national championship title.
