Actor-director Raj B Shetty is having a bustling year, with numerous film releases and upcoming projects, including a collaboration with director Anurag Kashyap. His recent film Turbo, alongside Mammootty, has gained him a substantial fan following in Kerala, leading to two more Malayalam films in his lineup.
Expressing excitement about his hectic schedule, Raj said, ‘I have never been this busy with work my entire life. Moving around so much, I feel like I am in a war zone.’ Despite the demanding pace, he relishes the creative opportunities it brings.
Raj is currently involved in various projects: producing a film with a debutant director, writing a film for himself and another for a different director, and directing a multilingual web series. His acting commitments include Rakkasapuradol, an unannounced movie, and projects in Malayalam like Kondal and Rudhiram.
When asked about the impact of his busy schedule on his creativity, he stated, ‘Not really.’ Raj prepares for his roles ahead of time, allowing him to focus on multiple tasks during breaks on set. He utilizes travel time for creative thinking, saying, ‘I am using every minute of my time for the creative process.’
