On the fifth day of Season 2 of the Zim Afro T10 at Harare Sports Club, Arinesto Vezha, Brandon Mavuta, George Linde, and Salman Irshad delivered outstanding performances, leading the Harare Bolts, Cape Town Samp Army, and Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers to impressive victories.

Batting first, the Harare Bolts made a strong start before Oshane Thomas of NYS Lagos claimed two quick wickets, bringing his team back into contention. However, Jimmy Neesham (18) and Dasun Shanaka (31) dominated the middle overs. With Sean Williams contributing a powerful 22, the Bolts finished at 117/7. In response, NYS Lagos’s Rassie van der Dussen (25) looked promising, but Vezha and Mavuta stepped up, each taking two wickets and derailing the chase. The Bolts secured a solid 44-run win.

In the next match, Cape Town Samp Army set a high target of 138/5, thanks to Brian Bennett’s quickfire 47 and Jack Taylor’s unbeaten 43. The Durban Wolves fought back with Colin Munro scoring 55 runs, but Salman Irshad’s remarkable 4/13 helped the Samp Army secure an easy win. In the final match, the Bulawayo Brave Jaguars batted first, scoring 110/5, with contributions from Anamul Haque and Nick Hobson. The Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers chased down the target, led by George Linde (31) and Karim Janat (23), winning with just one ball remaining in a thrilling finish
