During a rally in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of hindering progress for the SC, ST, and OBC communities. He emphasized that the BJP-led government is committed to supporting artisans through the PM Vishwakarma initiative, which offers loans and new machinery to help them thrive.
Modi criticized the previous government’s neglect of Vishwakarma artisans, claiming that had they received the necessary support, significant advancements could have been made. He highlighted the benefits of the initiative, stating that over 20 lakh individuals from various trades have participated, with more than 60,000 artisans in Maharashtra alone receiving training.
The Prime Minister also expressed concerns about Congress’s handling of recent violence during Ganpati celebrations, suggesting the party has shifted from its original patriotic values to a divisive agenda. He urged voters to reject Congress in upcoming elections, promising a focus on development and the welfare of Maharashtra’s citizens. Modi laid the foundation for a Mega Integrated Textile Park and launched skill development and startup schemes aimed at empowering the youth and women in the state, ensuring a brighter future for all.
