Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje criticized the Congress government for alleged political bias and misuse of power. Speaking at a media conference at the state BJP office, Karandlaje accused the Congress of starting a “politics of hate” after coming to power in the state. She claimed that FIRs were being registered only against BJP leaders, while Congress leaders were not facing similar actions.

Karandlaje challenged CM Siddaramaiah to file a case against BJP leaders, asserting that they would address all issues through legal means. She condemned what she described as an undeclared emergency under Siddaramaiah’s rule and compared his actions to those of a dictator.

The Union Minister highlighted several incidents, including FIRs lodged against BJP leaders such as MP Tejaswi Surya and others, while alleging that Congress leaders were not held accountable for various issues. She mentioned the suicide of Police Sub Inspector Parashuram, who had reportedly been pressured for money by a Congress MLA and his son, and the suicide of Chandrasekhar linked to the Valmiki corporation scam, questioning the absence of action against certain individuals.

Karandlaje also criticized the handling of the Ganesha idol during the Nagamangala Ganesha festival, describing it as an unusual and disrespectful incident, and questioned the courage of those involved. The allegations were made amid ongoing tensions between the BJP and Congress in the state.
