Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwar stated that the government has not engaged in hate politics. He clarified that an FIR was registered against BJP leaders in accordance with the law. The FIR concerns allegations of false information shared about the riot in Nagamangala. Parameshwar emphasized that the government is not promoting hatred, while accusing the BJP of engaging in hate politics. He challenged any claims that the government has acted unlawfully.

Regarding the Nagamangala riots, Parameshwar noted that there is no confirmed information about pro-Pakistan slogans being shouted. Officials have reported that claims about such slogans may be false, and this matter is under re-examination.

On the topic of MLA Munirath’s arrest, Parameshwar said the police are investigating a complaint made by a woman. He assured that legal action will be taken as required by law, but added that he had limited information on the case.

Regarding the concept of “one country, one election,” Parameshwar mentioned that further explanations are needed. He noted that at least two-thirds of the states must agree on this matter. The report by Ramnath Kovind will be presented in the upcoming session, and the next steps will be reviewed.

Parameshwar also addressed inquiries about the governor’s report against officials, stating that it is normal for the government to respond to such complaints and provide necessary information.
