The District Aided and Unaided PU College Principals Association was inaugurated to celebrate the achievements of educators and top-performing students. The event honored principals, vice-principals, and students for their excellence in improving pre-university results and outstanding performance in state examinations. Approximately 50 principals from the district attended the ceremony.

Retired principals Prof. UL Bhat of Jnana Ganga, Ramdas Prabhu of SVT Karkala, and Pundarikaksha Kodancha of SVH Innanje were among the distinguished guests. The newly formed association aims to foster collaboration among pre-university institutions in Udupi, promoting academic excellence and knowledge-sharing among educators. This initiative is expected to enhance the quality of education and support ongoing academic progress in the district.

During the event, 18 top-ranked students and 3 retired principals were recognized for their achievements. Dr. NS Raviraja, Chief Executive Officer of MAHE, emphasized the critical role of educators in shaping the future and praised the association for its potential to improve education quality in Udupi. Dr. Rajeev Kumra, Director of TAPMI, commended the association’s formation, highlighting its commitment to excellence and innovation in education, including the promising integration of AI to enhance learning experiences.
