Severe winds and heavy rain on the night of September 11 damaged four houses and brought down two electric poles in Janata Colony near Nelyadi, Uppinangady.
The homes of Aithappa, Isubu, Babu Achary, and Lokesh sustained roof damage due to the strong winds. Two electric poles in the vicinity were also toppled. Officials from the local Gram Panchayat and Revenue Department have visited the area to assess the damage and offer assistance.
