Rohan Dhole Patil, who had a strong start in the opening round but faltered with a quadruple-bogey on the fifth hole, bounced back on day two. He started with birdies on the first three holes and finished with a birdie on the 15th, another on the 16th, and an eagle on the 18th. Rohan noted his game has been improving and praised his putting and chipping performance.

Manu Gandas began the day with a bogey but recovered with five birdies. He admitted missing fairways and greens but managed to make crucial up-and-down shots.

Bishmadpal Singh, who had missed the season’s Qualifying School and Monday’s qualifier, made a stunning comeback with nine birdies and a bogey. He highlighted his mother’s support as key to his performance.

Local player S Prasanth, tied for 42nd at one-over 145, was the only Chennai-based golfer to make the cut.
