Rotary club funds heart surgery of 2-year-old girlBelagavi

Rotary Club of Belgavi South and the Rotary Gold Coast Club, USA, in partnership with KLE Hospital, saved the life of a two-year-old girl by financially assisting her heart surgery.
The office bearers of the Rotary Club, Chaitanya Kulkarni, Nilesh Patil, Bhushan Mohite, and Arati Angadi visited KLES Hospital and interacted with the family members of the girl. They also assured them of taking responsibility for the girl’s medical costs in the future. The office bearers said the assistance was provided for the child’s surgery under the Rotary Club’s Gift of Life initiative. We are thrilled to announce that the girl was discharged, they said. The girl’s father, Hanumant Survi, met with a fatal accident two years ago and was declared brain dead. Despite their grief, the family’s decision to donate his organs saved multiple lives.
