Kunchasree Women’s Club Honours Achievers

Kunchasree Mahila Balaga conducted a Kunchashree Sammilana Women’s Empowerment programme. Details of celebration of marriage rituals was explained. Women Members of District Village Panchayat, women who have achieved in various fields, women officers working in various fields were honoured. BR Mamatha, Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamp Bangalore said that the freedom of women in India is not found in some other countries, women should have their mark in all fields. At present, women are working mostly in the fields, women should be empowered and women should be civilized. A woman should have a healthy competitive spirit and a change in the society can be achieved.
Special Representative at Delhi, MLA TB Jaychandra, said, murder, sexual violence, child marriage should be stopped in the society, girls should get freedom at the village panchayat level.
C Lalitha Mallappa, President of Kunchashri Women’s Association, presided over the ceremony. The chief guests were Sridhar (Netaji), President of District Kunchitiga Vokkaligara Sangha and Rupa, Joint Director, Department of Agriculture, Bangalore. Vijayalakshmi Shivaram, Police Inspector Women Police Station, Girija Raju, Assistant Director of Agriculture Department, Jyothi, Commercial Officer, Bengalru, Navya, and UPSC 2023 696th Rank Winner, Mithula, International Sportsperson and Ekalavya Award winner were felicitated. More than 500 women of the Kunchitiga community attended the ceremony. Suresh Babu, Savithri, Suresh, Prema Ramesh, Sharadamma participated.
